Easy Muesli Balls
- Cook Time: 10 minutes
- Total Time: 10 minutes
- Yield: 12 muesli balls 1x
Description
No blitz, no bake and 3 ingredients. So easy it’s ridiculous!
Ingredients
- 11/2 cups of good quality muesli. You can use any type depending on your dietary preference.
- ½ cup of natural crunchy peanut butter or tahini for nut free
- ¼ cup of honey or rice malt syrup for fructose free
Instructions
- Add all the ingredients into a bowl and mix with a spoon until combined and the mixture comes together. To test whether the mixture is ready, squeeze some in your hands. If it easily forms a ball, you’re ready to roll. If not, add some more peanut butter or tahini until you get the right consistency.
- Take a tablespoon of mixture in your hands, give it a squeeze and then roll it into a ball. Repeat with the remaining mixture. You should end up with 12 muesli balls in total.
- You can leave them in the fridge for 30 minutes to firm up. But, I never do…they taste totally delicious straight from the bowl.
- Store in an airtight container in the fridge.
Notes
For an extra yummy treat melt a couple of squares of dark chocolate in the microwave and drizzle the chocolate over the top of the muesli bites.

I made your lovely muesli balls with tahini for school lunches- as no nuts allowed. I added choc chips as I can’t be bothered melting the choc over at the end. I also did 2 Tbsps coconut sugar and 1 Tbsp soft brown sugar instead of the malt syrup. I am down in Nz, hard to get some things here like that. I added in 2 Tbsp dessicated coconut as it is not a nut! (Surprisingly not a tree nut despite its name). Thank goodness. And small handful of currants (tiny little raisins) – you won’t find them much in the US- they’re very sweet. I had to add 1.5 Tbspn more tahini to get it all to stick together. They’re in the fridge- husband has given thumbs up. I have one sweet tooth fussy britches child so I will work on decreasing the sweetness after she has become accustomed to them! Here’s hoping! Thank you – I am also a fellow lawyer! 👍🏼🤣 like your recipe, easy to follow, great idea!!

Hi Deb. Yay…this comment made my day and you’re a fellow lawyer to boot! I am so glad you enjoyed the muesli balls, and thank you so much for sharing the way you made them your own. The currants sound like a great addition. It has actually got me thinking about making a Christmas version – yum (thank you for the inspo!). I hope there are a lot more muesli balls and oother yums in your future. Take care Rani x
